If there’s no ARGB cable from the controller to the motherboard, does this mean I can still control the light through motherboard software or only signalrgb?

You do not want to connect any RGB cable from the controller to motherboard

I have JM V2 magic block fans they connect like lian Li fans, they do magic lighting effects instead of duplicating each one. Will the controller let me still do lighting effects with l connect style fans? Could I have a red ball bounce from one fan to the other with the nollie 8? Does it still do the same thing as nollie 32

Can I plug a CPU cooler with 3 pin RGB into the controller or do I have to use a 4 pin and connect to the CPU plug on motherboard.

Can I plug a CPU cooler with 3 pin RGB onto the controller or do I have to get a 4 pin and plug into motherboard.

It would have turned out much better, although the result would have been larger, if you had used a SATA port instead of having to use these x2 SATA converters.

one SATA port is not powerful enough for 8 ARGB ports
because one SATA can only provides 4Amps (around 100 LEDs give or take)

Kinda curious, what will happen if I plug in the Multi-function controller (The hub to connect all fans to sync the lights for aura sync) of my asus TUF fans to the Nollie 8 then the Nollie 8 to my Mobo?
